Digital Leaders Week 2018: Living in a Digital Age
Digital Communities Wales is delivering a free event on Thursday 21 June to celebrate Digital Leaders Week 2018. Entitled ‘Living in a Digital Age’, the event is being organised in partnership with Cardiff County Council.
Digital Leaders Week is a national celebration of opportunities, challenges and support for the digital transformation of Britain’s businesses, public services and society. During the week, organisations will come together to share, inspire, inform and build the UK’s digital confidence.
The event will include a programme of seminars by digital leaders from Natwest, Innovate Trust and Digital Communities Wales.
Natwest’s Community Bankers will be speaking about being financially fit, banking in a digital world and protecting yourself from fraudsters.
Innovate Trust will be sharing their experience of introducing consumer devices in a care setting to provide a higher quality service. They’ll also discuss how radical thinking, challenging existing systems and using person centred technology can make a profound difference for people in our society.
Digital Communities Wales will be talking about how important it is to get people connected in a digital age. Using technology to stay in touch can have a major impact on reducing social isolation and loneliness and can enrich and enhance people’s lives.
The event runs from 10.00am – 3.30pm at the Creative Suite, Central Library Hub, The Hayes, Cardiff. Book your FREE place at https://digileaders.com/events/seminar-living-in-a-digital-age/
