Bespoke training from Digital Communities Wales

We offer high quality, engaging and exciting digital inclusion training for front line staff and volunteers.

Free
Our training is free to organisations that are working with digitally excluded people including older people, people with disabilities, unemployed people, social housing tenants and families in poverty.

In particular, we can train frontline staff and volunteers (for example, customer advisors, tenant support officers, librarians) so they can confidently show people how to use technology.

Tailored to you
Our workshops are tailored to meet the needs of your organisation. Our training team and advisers will work with you to create a bespoke training session linked to an upcoming digital inclusion project or specific issue. Training can be delivered through face-to-face or online methods and will include a toolkit to share with other staff or volunteers.

The sessions will include an element of ‘train the trainer’ and normally run for 3-6 hours.

Staff who have attended the sessions have not only enjoyed them and found them very interesting but they have increased their knowledge and confidence in delivering to their customers.
