The Wales Co-operative Centre has been helping communities get online since 2005 and was the lead delivery partner of the Welsh Government’s Communities@One and Communities 2.0 projects, both funded by the European Union. We have extensive experience of developing and implementing co-operative solutions to strengthen communities and promote inclusion.
The Wales Co-operative Centre is Wales’ national body for co-operatives, mutuals, social enterprises and employee owned businesses. They apply co-operative values to strengthening communities and services as well as supporting these businesses.
For over thirty years they have helped organisations and communities by providing responsive, reliable and flexible support.
The Centre delivers major programmes on behalf of the EU (via the Welsh European Funding Office) and Welsh Government. Other funders include Comic Relief and the Nationwide Foundation. We also deliver consultancy services to a wide range of clients.
The Wales Co-operative Development and Training Centre Limited (trading as the Wales Co-operative Centre) is a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, number 24287 R.
